  • Pear, apricot, cotton candy and white flower aromas with some hints of petrol. Orange juice, apricot, and unripe peach skin flavors. Delicious acidity, but could be more complex. Good, not great. This is more of a Spatlese than an Auslese — it’s not very sweet and has an un-ripe fruit character.

  • Glass: Zalto Universal
    Drunk over two days.
Clear, medium glowing golden color. Clean, medium- intense and a bit shy nose, still very youthful. Ripe exotic fruit, some botrytis, herbs, vanilla.
On the palate medium-sweet, with well-integrated, medium+ acidity. Only 8,5% abv. Aromas of ripe mango and other exotic fruits, slate, herbs, honey and some botrytis and some Sulphur. Nice depth and pressure, good balance and length. Still a baby that gets better with time. Wait 10+ years. 91-92+ Nevertheless: Thank you Andreas for this gift!
