PNP. This was sharp so passed thru vinturi. Color garnet. Nose has dark cherry and rhubarb w an almost tarry note. Swishing shows terse acids. Sipping give better balance but this is far from fruity which is atypical for most barbera d'alba that I drink. Great with our pasta dish but a bit one dimensional alone. Still worth the $15 cost of admission.

PNP. synth cork fine. dense color and nose. gave this a decant to open it up. nose with dark berry and cherry fruit with anise. swishing reveals lots of acid based structure with modest tannin bringing up the rear. sipping showed dusty fruit and a tart finish with smooth tannin. even better after a night in the fridge.

Bright florals and ripe forest berries on the nose and palate. Great acid, precise and with excellent life. Highly enjoyable.
