Light bodied (especially compared to the Sonoma Pinot I opened recently from Tandem) and impressive acid (especially for rainy 2007 In Willamette). I liked this quite a bit. Smelled like wet earth. On the palate, tart cherry and fresh strawberries followed by orange peel towards the lengthy finish. Well integrated french oak. On day 2, the acid had subsided some, which makes me think that a long decant is in order for these Oregon Pinots. Imagine this wine in a better year? Paired nicely with sesame crusted tuna with a ginger/soy sauce and stuffed squab.

North Willamette Vintner's Wine Trail Weekend; 4/9/2011-4/10/2011: Much lighter than the 2005. Rich, funky green notes. Nice richness and balance on the palate, with bright fruit. The finish is a little green as many 2007s are, but it's still pretty balanced and pleasing.

I liked the nose on this, funky, with dirty mushroom, oak, light red fruit. The palate is low intensity and very delicious, soft red fruit, pretty straight-forward, with a bit of oak showing on the finish but in balance. Balanced structurally. Well made, and while if a tad boring, it comes off very tasty. Drinking well.

Absolutely to die for! Very light bodied but so flavorful--cranberries, pomegranate, roses--it smelled heavenly, had a great midpalate but was so flavorful, even my Filet Mignon stood up to it. I wish I had another one!
