  A lovely and very fruit driven Sancerre, the 2012 Le Pierrer comes around as a very nice wine and is certainly approachable. There is no sign of the sometimes less pleasant "cat pee" tone, instead Gooseberry and fresh lime zest dominate the nose. The palate adds to the overall experience and delivers exactly what is expected from this effort: crisp acidty and freshness. A very nice wine for sure.
