Tasted after 1 hour of air. Medium ruby color. Tangy strawberry fruit. Nice spice on the mid palate lift. Some tea. Medium tannins. Excellent balance and freshness here. Medium plus finish.

Nose of purple fruit, bacon fat, and light oak. Palate delivers purple fruit, violets, rocks, and peppery herbal notes. Finish of supple tannins with acidity and tension giving way to iron, blueberry on a long finish.

Very bland, almost nothing to describe. I've had several bottles and all have been poor, lacking flavor and basically insipid. Mourvedre, Syrah and Grenache should be bold, spicey and earthy, but this was just BORING. I usually enjoy wines from WA but this was sadly disappointing. Cost $45 but not worth much at all.

Wine Palooza (Eagan, MN): Least favorite wine at the event. A bit hot with earth and some red currants. Not in a good place right now.
