Really wanted to like this but I ended up being underwhelmed. Cherry cough syrup on the nose, alcohol. On the palate dark sherried cherries and maple syrup. Alcohol is too prevalent and the finish is short. Won't be buying this again.

I don't have much experience with Gamay but this was enjoyable. Nose of Red fruits, some dried leaves. On the palate red cherry, raspberries, more dried leaves. A slight resemblance to Mencia but more quiet. Not my style of wine but I can't take away the fact that it's good for 20$

2021 Giuseppe Quintarelli Bianco Secco

A year and a half since my other bottle and this is still incredible. Light greenish yellow color. The nose is insane with Pineapple and Grapefruit. Like a tropical breeze in southern Italy by the Mediterranean. On the palate it's high energy with tons of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, pomelo and a lot of tropical fruits like Pineapple, Apricot and Passionfruit. High acidity with a lot of minerality as well. The finish is medium to long with salinity and a lot of lemon zest. Incredible white wine for summer and to pair with seafood
