11,5% abv; really pretty bright red toned aromas, very obviously Sangiovese; pure, clean, bright palate. Quite long. Light bodied version of Chianti and very moreish. Love it.

100% Teroldego; c.27€. A very light red. Absolutely beautiful aromas of pomegranate, general bright red fruit and some genuine depth from earthiness. Light bodied, ripe sweet fruit but it's also racy and bright and refreshing. The ultimate vin de soif? But it seems quite a bit more interesting than vin de soif. Or maybe these better vds transcend the term to be great wines. Utterly ravishing wine.

Grenache, c.14€, 13% abv. Not bad at all for this price in one of the most expensive alcohol monopolies in the world. Pleasant fruity aromas, all things as expected of Grenache like sweet strawberry fruit and a touch of herbs. Pleasantly light for a Grenache, soft, easy drinking but balanced. Fun everyday wine. Best enjoyed when not taken too seriously.
