I had this wine served in restaurant from a half bottle. This wine showed a bright red un-pinot like intense colour. On the nose a lot of ripe red fruit. Palate is very concentrated, ripe and sweet cooked red fruit and hints of tar. This wine was well balanced but as it was served a little to warm, alcohol (13% VOL accordingly to the bottle) was bothering me. This wine showed well and is a great drink right now. Personally I won't buy this again as I'm not a huge fan of the 2003 (over) concentrated red burgundies.

Bought this bottle in auction. Perfect fill. Bright red and quite intense colour (seems atypical for a burgundy at this age). A developed nose - fantastic. A lot of red fruit on the palate and some secondary notes of leather and tobacco. A great bottle ready to drink right now. A perfect mach with the roasted duck.

14€ Medium ruby-red, aromas of red fruit. Some pepper on the palate as well as ripe red fruit. It is a fairly concentrated wine that will drink well now.
