  • 2022 Domaine Chanterêves Bourgogne Blanc

PNP. Grapes from Maranges (2/3) and Pierres Dorées (1/3) in the southern Beaujolais. Fresh and precise in the expression. Medium+ acidity, great integrated. It delivers a pronounced tone of lemon, some grapefruit, buttermilk and a hint of oak. Absolutely delicious at this point, but still with a texture that allows it to developed in a positive direction the next couple of years. The balance is good and the length impressive for the level.

  • 2022 LaLù Langhe Nebbiolo

Opened 1 hour in advance. Relatively short maceration time (around 12 days) and 50% whole clusters in this one. Super bright, refreshing and fruity in the expression. Medium+ acidity and tannin, both beautifully integrated. It delivers raspberries, wild strawberries, roses, a hint of menthol and some rhubarb. Great balance and an extremely elegant expression of Nebbiolo. Good depth and length for the level. Great wine making.

  • 2015 Schäfer-Fröhlich Bockenauer Felseneck Riesling Großes Gewächs

Opened 1 hour in advance. Fresh, energetic and almost vibrant in the expression. Medium+ acidity, great integrated. It delivers lots of different citrus fruits, a flowery tone, wet stone, a little ripe musk melon and some petroleum (which disappears after a while). Super intense, but yet very fresh and elegant. Great balance and length. Clearly in the drinking window, but with a lot of life left. Lovely wine.
