Decent wine and nicely smooth. Quality barbaresco. Ive always liked this wine and probably had most years since 2005 (paid $17 including tax in 08 I remember). This will mature nicely. Problem is it's price which has increased significantly since the late 00's. For the price ($35) it's an OK wine but not impressive. Bought 2014 for $28 a couple of years back which I believe is the right price for this wine. But it is a 2016 so expect a premium. Still two in storage.
Great wine. Consumed at Thanksgiving 2020. Have had one bottle in storage since 2013 and paid $56 for it back then. Really smooth and a great tasting Paso blend. Definitely ready to drink now and could probably be stored a bit longer but why wait. Prices on later vintages have risen significantly in price but at $56 it was well worth it. 91 points for sure maybe going to 92. Cheers

This wine is to be enjoyed with food. A Classic Brunello, which I often think are over-rated, but can seem a bit flat if enjoyed on its own. A steak and an hour decanting helped meeting our expectations. I would recommend this wine, but needs to be treated with care to show potential. It finishes a bit disappointing though and should cost more than $30.
