Bear in mind though that I generally prefer Grenache based wines younger than older, because there are lots of things about Grenache that I dislike as the wine ages. That's a subjective thing, as one of the greatest wines I have ever had was a Chateau Rayas (damned near 100% Grenache) from 2003 (a not particularly great, very hot year) at 18 years of age. If you like your Grenache based wines with age, this one has a very long life ahead of it. I see you are from JJ Cale's home state - consequently, some of his glory rubs off on you.
