Still not a lot of tertiary flavors, but still holding it's essential core of red fruit. The oak has all pretty much blown off. There is still a lot of character to this wine.

89: nice blend, medium body, quality is apparent, some secondary flavors trying to come through, holding fine, deal at $20. UPDATE: another bottle, was past prime, little fruit, just a shell of tannin and wood. 79 ANOTHER UPDATE: third bottle is good again - nice smooth polished blend. 89.

Nose was subtle, body was nice you could see lovely legs. Taste was not big but was good at beginning, middle and end. Had a long finish. Had with beef stew.

dark ruby, long legs, dark fruit on the nose, some rich moist furtile soil. notibly high alcohol but not offensive. Leathery mouthfeel but no leather taste. dark cherries predominates.Goes equally well with pizza or chocolate.

- Ruby color with medium forming legs with a medium/full body with a medium finish - Not very expressive to the nose, however, well balanced with rounded tannins and medium finish make this wine very special. Vanilla and oak hints with red berries on the palate.

Beautiful rich, dark red and black fruit with a hint of licorice. I wish a Bordeaux could taste this good. Enticing nose and smooth tannins make this drinkable now.

This wine is dope. Nice cross between a Bordeaux and cali cab. Nose of coffee and carmel/vanilla, like you can get from a high quality bordeaux. Fruit forward/oaky palate like you would expect in a west coast cab only done in a more restrained elegant way. Have had other vintages of this and it delivers always.

Caramel and coconut on the nose, with some tart red fruit and heat. Also a twinge of the floral. Soft tart cherry and spice building through the mid and pinching down a bit from the tannins at the end, medium plus finish. Should cellar well, good acidity and lots of medium grain tannins.

14.5% Light ruby color, can easily see light through wine to bottom of glass. Wet earth and stone on the nose, some minerality and blood on the palate, ends with a medium length savory finish. Not as defined on day 3, cant see this lasting very long in the cellar. Seems to be made for relatively quick consumption, as it is quite enjoyable now.

Blossom after a week of uncork, suppose decantage is needed. Black tea on palate. Should develop better after a year or two.

Very easy to drink and opened very nicely more so than many Bordeauxs. Full of oak, vanilla, and nice tannins.
