Light gold. Quite sweet and concentrated for a Kab. Lots of white peach, some citrus, light honey, bit of spring flowers. Lots of acidity. Decent length. Good but not outstanding, solid though. Plenty life there too.

Tough to get a better example of Riesling. This could last forever, but was great tonight (actually last night). Great blinder for anyone studying. Tasted by wineretriever on 12/18/2013 & rated 92 points: Delicious, fragrant nose of sweet apricot and peach, with petrol and white stone present, too. Petrol nose and rich ripe apricot on both nose and pleasantly coated palate.

Delicious, fragrant nose of sweet apricot and peach, with petrol and white stone present, too. Mouth-coating apricot and peach on the palate balanced by tongue-tingling acidity. Yum.

Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of ruby red grapefruit, apricot and peach. Flavors of peach wasser, sweet cherry and lemon. Bright acidity, light to medium body. Drink or hold.

Reasonable sweetness, strong but perfectly judged acidity balances things nicely. Pure, intense flavours and juicy lime flavours tingling on the tongue for a long time. Very good.

Seafood and Riesling supper (My place, world square, sydney): medium minus intensity aromas of tropical fruit - pineapple (?), stony/slate minerality and sulphur. In the mouth the wine is fresh and fruity, it has a slight spritz and a touch of phenolic grip, is at the sweeter end of off dry and has flavours that offer a cornucopia of ripe fruit. Very nice.

Served at dinner with friends, along with two other German Rieslings. So, this is merely a brief recollection.
Quite heavy for a kabinett - a friend semi-derisively described this as an Auslese. Sweet, concentrated with fruit bowl of flavors. YOUNG!
A long life ahead, it'll certainly improve with time

Medium straw color. Apricot with a hint of petrol on the nose. Peaches, meyer lemon and lychee with zippy acidity. Big wine; will last a while.

Citrus, mineral nose. Miss the balance, significant alcohol. No complexity at all quite straight forward medium-short finish.

Langton's Cellar Club February 2013 - Riesling around the world (Roof Terrace Australian Museum): On the nose there is orange, slight apricot and tropical fruit and almost touches of marmalade botrytis notes. In the mouth there are flavours of juicy orange, slight lemon curd on the off dry, medium plus zesty acid wine. Very good.
