Monday, April 29, 2024 - Opened in a restaurant, drank one glass, closed the bottle and took it home. Needs like 24 hours of air, so goddamn tight. Opened up the next evening, but still quite youthful. Fresh raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant. Undertones of twigs, mocha, sandpaper, dried roses & violets. Palate is big, but not ripe in any sense. A punch of tannins balances out beautifully with the high acidity. Long finish. Needs a lot of time in the bottle, but this is just pure deliciousness and elegance in a bottle.
