Saturday, January 20, 2018 - First of six, wanted to get a gauge on this cru from this producer not having tried before.
Opened 3-4 hours prior to consumption / decanted about an hour before
Fairly dark in appearance, very youthful
Reticent nose, did not give much
Red fruits, fennel, spices
Superfine tannin, silky smooth but still had grip
Quite fruit forward, yes almost succulent but without being overipe
Very approachable now, time will be kind though.
Lovely, a keeper!
