Thursday, October 12, 2017 - Touch menthol on opening but this reduced. Deep blackcurrant nose. Pretty deep colour too. A little thin / hollow to start and rather a spiky sort of mid-palate. Drying tannins on the finish. This definitely improved with air and was at its best after around 2 hours when the spikiness had gone and the over-dry finish settled down. A decent drop if not terribly exciting. Holding up well, but do give it a decant.
