Friday, February 11, 2022 - Opened 2 hours ahead. Fresh, approachable and quite elegant. Medium+ acidity and tannin, both very well integrated. It delivers some camphor, sour cherries, unriped blackberries, medicine cabinet, violets and a less pronounced tone of strawberries towards the end. Good balance and decent aftertaste. Drinking very well at this point, when given some time in the glass, but can for sure be saved to. A very high level for a basis Barbaresco in my opinion (might have something to do with the vintage). A very solid 92 at this point.
