Tuesday, July 7, 2020 - Ruby colored, red fruits on the nose and palate. Light- to medium-bodied. High acidity, okay finish. This is the second bottle I’ve had of this in the last few months, the first one being better.

Others seem to have a much different experience. Does anyone know if there are different bottlings of this wine? Photo #1 shows 2016 on the main label while mine has the vintage on a little sticker above. Thanks!

7/7/2020 6:05:00 PM - WHAT an ASTUTE observation! :) Both of my 2 bottles have 2016 on the neck (like Photo #4), & since they were purchased @ the shop that was the source of my TN's of 2/1 & 2/15/20, I would have to assume those bottles were the same, though, IF I remember correctly, my 1st & 2nd tastings came from 2 different shipments to the vendor, my 2 currently cellared bottles being part of the 2nd shipment?. Hope that's of at least SOME help! ;)

7/7/2020 6:46:00 PM - Thanks! I was trying to determine if it’s simply bottle variation or if there truly are different bottlings, e.g., different version of the US.

7/7/2020 8:11:00 PM - It's gotta be the "US" version. If you notice, the bottom of the label is also different where it contains the importer information. My guess is that the importer/winery printed a bunch of "blank" labels to span multiple vintages. The workaround is to then add it with the second neck label.

7/7/2020 9:41:00 PM - Hmmm, of the 25 photos, only one of them — “2/25” — shows a date on the main / lower (rectangular) label. All the rest show the date either on the neck, or not at all — from which, we can infer, the date for those too must be on the neck?

7/8/2020 11:12:00 AM - VERY good, njustl! Both my neck labelled '16s show Vias as the importer. I also have 1 ea of the '11 & '12 with the exact same scenario.

7/18/2020 5:44:00 PM - I can tell you my 750ml and 1.5L has the vintage on the neck, ut the 3L has it directly on the label.

7/18/2020 6:06:00 PM - Mrblak, different vintage positions for different sized bottles: now that's a scenario I wouldn't have imagined for bottles obtained in the same locale! ;)
