Thursday, April 2, 2015 - Riesling and Madeiras at Marco's (Milford, CT): Not that surprising that a Doctor GK Spätlese at this age is still showing incredibly young. There's barely any sign of development yet - it's packed with very fresh citrus, apple, and peachy fruit flavours tinged with honey and gentle mineral notes, showing lots of youthful sweetness and good acidity beneath. It's not especially complex now, but gives the impression that it's holding a lot in reserve and really needs time.
