Thursday, July 3, 2014 - Lovely nose of ripe fruit, some petrol/smoke and flowers. Quite sweet for a spätlese but this is fairly well balanced by a medium acidity. Lots of sweet fruit: apricots, pineapple, mango, apple, pear etc. Also honey, citrus and an avarage amout of stony and smoky minerals. Comes across as slightly heavy but still very nice.
