Friday, July 1, 2011 - Yellow color. Thick oily coating in the glass. Lovely aged Spatlese nose, candied lemon-lime, verbena, caramelized apricots and a whiff of petrol. The palate has superb definition to the candied tangerine and ripe peach/apricot fruit, perfect interplay of sweetness and acidity and a long oiily, off-dry and mineral laden finish.
