2015 Domaine La Suffrene Bandol Cuvée Les Lauves (France, Provence, Bandol) 5/13/2024Tgood

Dense clouded ruby brown black - roasted coffee and dark chocolate dominate aromas and flavors overlying pruneaux fruit. Brusquely alcoholic with hefty tannins already thick and velvety. Roasted beast especially bbq styled with char points and a sweet and spicy sauce would be ideal partner (1 view)

2018 Palivou Estate Nemea (Greece, Peloponnisos, Nemea) 5/13/2024AnytimeWineTime75

Not a fan. Tasted like old prunes and black pepper …all not in a good way. (1 view)

2022 Penfolds Chardonnay Koonunga Hill (Australia, South Australia) 5/14/2024macaujames88

A little bit sweet but mostly a low key decently oaked refeshing yet simple weekday quaffer. 12.5%. Drink now. (1 view)

2002 Bouchard Père et Fils Chevalier-Montrachet (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru) 5/13/2024NickNYC92

very good bottle. deep nose, elegant, with some wood notes that became more discreet with air. the palate is also elegant, fresh and quite long. however this bottle was not of grand cru caliber. I would have expected more intensity. (1 view)

2020 Domaine Bernard Moreau et Fils Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge Vieilles Vignes (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet) 5/13/2024Tgood

Dense pigment a prelude to a dense concentrated palate of fresh berries - ample acids and tannins will see this one through where development may add complexity to the current lovely dense primary expression (1 view)

2018 Domaine Henri Naudin-Ferrand Côte de Nuits Villages Viola Odorata (France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Nuits Villages) 5/13/2024wineton.mee91

This is lovely expression from Claire, and the most complete 2018 across her range that I’ve tasted so far. Dark sour cherries, strawberries, pronounced floral notes. The acidity is there like it always is but not sticking out, it’s also got good weight and fruit density to the finish. (8 views)

2009 Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie (France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Côte-Rôtie) 5/13/2024Chuck Miller

PnP, cork in perfect condition. A classic nose of slightly green/unripe syrah, smoke and black olives. Tannins gently caress the finish with enough structure to go another decade, but certainly can be enjoyed now. Unmistakable N. Rhone syrah. (26 views)

2019 Château Dauzac (France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux) 5/13/2024stamperb93

Nose: Blackberry and cassis, candied wildflowers. Palate: Noticeable oak that morphs to cedar with more time in the glass, ripe blackberries and thick dark cassis, blackberry liqueur without the alcohol flavor; plush tannins. A very well-structured wine that nicely straddles the line between Bordeaux and Napa, maybe a touch too much wood for me at this stage, but I'm nitpicking...it's very good. (11 views)

This bottle was in a perfect spot, and in my opinion fully mature. Beautifully fruited it was all enveloping from start to finish. 96+ (14 views)
