Die Nase ist spannend: hell und frisch kräutrig mit etwas Brennnessel und Waldmeister, dazu grüner Apfel mit etwas Schale und dann recht bunt fruchtig und etwas dropsig, mich irgendwie an orange Nimm2 erinnernd. Ich finde das aber durchaus interessant, weil überhaupt nicht plump.

Am Gaumen vibrierend und mit sehr gutem Spiel, hier etwas pfeffrig-pikant und dankenswerterweise nicht dropsig. Mit Zug, im besten Sinne lecker und genau das richtige am Grill.

Ich mag meine Kabis etwas bissiger und etwas säurebetonter, Spaß macht das aber allemal. (17 views)

the nose is like a cold stone-sided river .. the wine on the tongue is like the most crystalline blade-thick slice of green apple glazed in wildflower honey .. the acid makes everything prismatic and luminous .. stoney and pristine .. At Urbano's. Bronze color. Lovely aromas of petrol, ripe gala apples, herbs, and minerals. Mild petrol on the palate with apples, minerals, and herbs. Medium body and mildly viscous mouthfeel. Great depth and concentration. Nice long finish. Just an excellent wine. (21 views)

Nose with Mosel Riesling profile, lemon blossoms, melon and peaches with a touch of slate showing underneath.
Palate with peaches, mango, pears, lime, some honeysuckle - good balance and very archetypical.

NOSE: the riot of stimulation is now winched and felted into something more coherent. Sliced serranos retreat into shadows of citron. Lemon-lime excavates shaded flowers. It presents elegantly in evening attire.
MOUTH: I find more poise of character here, too. The usual markers of acid, sugar, body, and so forth, are inadequate terms for defining its features. It's not exactly dry, but it can certainly play the part. Acidity isn't glaring; it hisses sharply, below grade, in stone structure that supports the flavor event. In development, a drink methodically gathers savage aromatics—peppermint, saltmarsh, lemon, matcha.
TIME/KINESIS: it clearly gains expression. The finish firms up, leaving a reliable, iron-rich quarried grip. The plumbing and drapes show exotic moments of spiced mandarin, rhubarb, and juniper in heavy perfume. It never relinquishes dry focus. It was 92 in the first 30 minutes, now after an hour, an emphatic 93.
