This is just a fabulous bottle with a long life ahead. Your patience will be rewarded here. Deep inky in color with hints of blueberries on the nose. On the palate this is a big bold wine with a lot going on and a very long finish. Blueberries and rich tannins are the best way to describe this offering. This is one of those bottles that’s more of experience as it continues to open up in the glass. If you have some I don’t blame you for giving it a try. That said I think this keeps getting better with a little more time in the cellar. I have a few left and will likely give it a year or two before I open my next one. Truly very classy stuff, pumped I got a chance to try it today. Thanks to Ackers for giving me the opportunity to buy this super tough to find bottle.

Ugh! Really disappointed with this bottle this evening. Just a very flat showing. In years past this has been a solid go to for me. So sad the ‘22 was so underwhelming. Oh well onward.

This is a very classy and elegant wine that pairs really well with any type of red sauce. The mouth feel is light but the dark cherry flavors are just so rich and pronounced The finish here is long with lots of those classic dry tannins you think of with a quality aged barolo. This wine was made to enjoy with food think rich cheeses and red sauces. For me this one is in the peak drinking window so the wait is over and it is time to enjoy. Can’t wait to try some of their more recent vintages, this is a wine I always keep my eye out for.
