In the decanter for a couple hours prior to drinking. A big wine, very Torbreck ‘house’ style. Big, black over ripe fruits, heavily extracted, a bit of bramble, raisened edge and Eden Valley perfume. Rich but not opulent and whilst lacking in layers and complexity it is fun to drink. Predominately tertiary notes remain with a medium to long finish. In a good space now, drink over the next few years.

Dark berries on the nose, the wine really opens up on the front and mid palate with layers and layers of dark fruits,on the finish there is cedar from the oak and a hint of spice. The wine has excellent structure, and although irresistible now, has many years ahead of it Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink by 2023)
