I just love these Lewis Syrah’s. At first was drinking a bit big and fruit forward for my taste. But over the course of a few days additional flavors and complexities emerged—blackberry, tar, worcester sauce. My last bottle can hold for awhile as I prefer the tertiary flavors that will emerge with age.
Sadly, our last bottle. No signs of fading in the color and no sediments. Still a powerhouse wine, blackberries, pepper, and vanilla on a long finish. Jammy without being cloying. Paired extremely well with a hearty beef stew.

I love a big Shiraz and while this was a great wine, it was not the on your face burst of power of most. The nose was outstanding and the wine was much more textured and like a cab. Chocolate covered berry WS very pleasing; the only negative was a bit of heat on the finish. It was my last bottle, but probably at or past peak now.

Outstanding. Was the favorite at a tasting going up against very high end Syrahs from France and Australia. Very big bold fruit, nicely integrated oak, harmonious while rich. Wish I had more; this tastes like it can go a long time

BEAUTIFUL wine! Dark purple colored and SO aromatic. Coffee, chocolate and dark berries. Drinking perfectly right now.
