PnP. Nose as less exuberance than 4 years ago, with cherry cola dominating and spice/earth needed to be coaxed. The palate has tart medium-bodied fruit with some acidity and heat. No complexity and seems to have lost it's youthful charm.

Traci and I hit our wine locker yesterday and I decided it was time to pull some 2002 Siduri Pinots. Those who know me, know I like SVD Pinots between 7-10 years of age, if possible. This wine accompanied a panko crusted chicken breast covered with mushrooms sauteed in red wine.
Initially this was a little simple on the palate - showing cranberries and red cherries but with a little air, subtle baking spice rolled in, a little earth and more cranberries/dark cherry. It is medium weighted with just enough acidity and a medium length finish. I don't believe this is going to get better and should drink well for the next couple of years. Very nice wine.

Least favorite Siduri to date. Extracted yet sour and tart. Not very good.

A tad hot on the finish but otherwise pleasant.
