Great food wine and definitely one of the best Oregon chards we've had in awhile. I like the subtle smokiness I pick up along with the oak and lush fruit. Nicely balanced.
Visiting the winery is highly recommended. Beautiful location and the customer service is excellent.

Dundee Hills Passport Tour (Dundee Hills, Oregon): Full oak shows immediately on the nose along with rich fruit. Apples and grapes show like they're mixed into a fruit salad with plenty of cream. Despite the richness on the nose, some good acidity hits on the palate with a round touch. The fruit has a gentle and relaxed feeling. All components linger well on the finish while the oak makes an appearance while remaining in a background.

Dundee Hills Tasting Event In Portland (Portland, OR): Interestingly, I'm distinctly getting steak on the nose of this Chardonnay. Grilled steak shows, on grilled bread, with some white floral notes on the side. Hazelnut flavors deliver on the palate, and show right down the middle. Apples come in later, and they linger faintly on the finish. The oak is light as well, and it works in balance with the other flavors. The acidity evolves slowly, and reaches long into the finish as well.
