Solid. Like the style. Could use a longer finish or more acid, but this was very enjoyable and very good at the price point. Not too red fruit/fruit forward. Looking forward to trying more of these.

earthy blue and red fruit on the nose. little shallow on the attack. not as clean on the attack as i might hope. palate is a good medium but a little dominated by the earthiness again. the fruit does show thru - nice red and blue - but seems a little distracted by the underlying earth and floor. finish is pretty good on this one. some brightness does come thru on the finish and leaves you wanting a little more of a taste, which is nice.

Softer and ripe on the nose with red and almost blue fruit aromas complimented by hints of tar and earth, this is is medium to medium+ bodied on the palate with rich red raspberry and tart cherry flavors. Medium acid.

Yet to be Named Wine Club Meeting #14 (Mark and Erica's): Similar notes to the Chehalem, we spent most of our discussion on whether we preferred this or the other. In the end Chehalem won by a smidgen but considering LP was 1/2 the price makes it a great value. 90/91

A very light pinot noir. Pleasant to drink when you are in the mood for a light red. Well made, but I was expecting more for the 91 pts. the magazines gave it. All in all a good wine for the price.
