Asked my son what wine to open. He said Pinot. I said what winery. He said Longplay. He was spot on this was a great nice easy drinking pinot to finish our meal.

Popped and poured. A nice easy drinking Pinot. Round red cherry fruits. Plenty of acid to provide balance and grip. A hint of tea. Medium finish. Very nice effort and excellent QPR.

Tasted on day 2. Tasted along side a Haden Fig Bjornson and a Golden West Pinot. The Longplay was my favorite by a mile. Nice high toned cherry fruit. Some spicy and tea notes. Very persistent finish. Medium plus finish. An excellent vintage of Lia's and QPR. Kudos to Todd.

Still very cherry dominated, almost like a middle ground between a warm CA pinot and what I think of from OR. Against the Hi-Tone this was clearly the lessor of the two - HT showed so much more depth and complexity and freshness.
