This wine held up pretty well. I was a little nervous that it might be over the hill, however, it delighted with remarkable freshness. Maybe the screw cap kept it from any notable oxidation and maybe it was restrained winemaking. In any case, this had lovely fresh white flower nose and just enough body and roundness to hit the spot for me. I'm not a big Viognier fan but enjoyed this one quite a bit. Purchased in the tasting room 5 1/2 years ago.

Nice floral and stone fruit notes leads to medium bodied palate of crisp peachy fruit without the cloying richness/sweetness/softness that often represents Viognier outside of Condrieu. Good but overpriced at $27.

A really good and somewhat sweet very typical viognier enjoyed recently in the NC mountains with good CT wine buddy neighborbill. Slightly too sweet for my taste which for me dropped the score a point or two, otherwise a really excellent and versatile white wine. A good QPR at this price point and I definitely recommend this wine. Soft, balanced, medium bodied, quite delicious and both acidic and fruit forward enough for a couple more years of cellaring. Aromatic nose with tropical flowers, warm peach and apricot and primary flavors included acid, burnt sugar, white flowers and the primary fruit present was peach.
