Still alive and interesting but not quite my style. Lots of oak and a bit lower acid than I’d like. Nose of buttered popcorn, cooked Bosc pear, and a bit of dried herbs. Round and rich on the palate, medium length.

Shockingly alive and very enjoyable. Fully mature stone fruit aromas and flavors with marzipan and floral hints. A nice mineral textural finish. If served blind, you could have convinced me this was a very good Meursault Villages 2005 or 2006, and I mean that as a real compliment. Best when popped-and poured, then still good for almost an hour.

Light clear gold color and on opening an immeadiate hit of oak that did soften with time leaving a nice firm floral note and a sense of light stone fruit and citrus. Very pleasing. Served from the get go at cellar tempurature, this wine was ready...clean entry and a rounded fruit grip at mid palate with that edge of resolved oak that for once added...rather than detracted...a nice balance. This wine was in a good place tonight.

Green apple and pear predominate with a fair amount of stone and crispness. Nice long finish. A beautiful Chardonnay that is drinking very well now.

Rich spicy honey peach pear lemon; complex; soft and smooth.
