Deeper color than expected for a GSM. Nose was off at first then opened up to dark fruit and leather. Full bodied on the palate - more so than a typical GSM - with concentration and finesse. Long finish. Wine is still young and vibrant.

Dry, disastrously crumbly cork. The wine was excellent, though. the 15.9% alcohol was very noticeable, but stood up well to pates and string cheeses. Nice American Red Rhone blend, but with typical Paso Robles density of fruit.

My last bottle of this delicious Rhone blend drank with grilled beef tenderloin. Rich and concentrated dark fruits, earth, spice. Drink.

Popped and poured. Very muted. Maybe too old; maybe needed more air; maybe very faintly corked? Just very little fruit.
