Retail $50. Under cork. I was doing inventory in the cellar the other day and, well, this bottle popped up as not in my inventory. Whoa. The last bottle of this wine I opened was in 2017, a full six years ago. That deserves a "whoa'. As does this bottle. Fairly dark in the glass with a bit of raspberry. Stewed raspberry, ripe cherry, a bit of smoke and earth. Very nice. The palate is more nuanced, interestingly, with fruit, but short of bountiful, and a tartness that joins it all together, unctuous (in a good way) and glorious.
Who says that Adam Lee's Pinot Noir can't age? I admit that I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to aging wines and there have been times that I have been burned (read any of my comments on White Burgundy), but when you get one right, it is incredible. Fruity and bombastic on the nose. But on the palate? Holy cow. Throws a bit of sediment but completely worth it. Whoa. thedrunkencyclist.com

Retail $50? I have been drinking Adam Lee’s wines for many years now and while they typically are never shy, they are almost always balanced. This is no exception. Initially, quite fruity and bombastic on the nose. But on the palate? Holy cow. Rich fruit, still great acidity. It throws a bit of sediment but completely worth it. Whoa. thedrunkencyclist.com

Excellent with red salmon. Loads of cherry fruit in this one. I would be drinking these if you have them. This wine was as good or better on night two. 92 points.
