Holding together quite well. Still showing that white pepper and spice profile from its youth. Oak a little prominent but not out of balance and the fruit is plush and generous enough to pull it off. Better than previous bottles but drink up I think.

Not sure about this one. Quite oaky on the nose and palate and unfortunately it didn't blow off. Still a core of rich spicy fruit and dusty tannins but had a few too many angles to warrant a higher score. Don't think it was faulty, just not as balanced and integrated as I remember.

Deep red in colour. Intense nose of cassis, herby mint and blackberry - classic shiraz. Palate a little disjointed - unbalanced acidity overwhelmed the tinned raspberry fruit. Not tired, but drink up. Mrs H (a shiraz devotee) loved this more than me.

Tried this over a couple of nights and ultimately think the bottle I had may have been a poor example of this wine but not completely sure it was faulty. Very oaky on the nose which follows through to the palate. This did ease over the 2 days and the fruit started to show more prominently. Lacking some of the spice I would expect and fruit seemed quite tired and lacking freshness. Will give this wine the benefit of the doubt as other examples have been much better.

drinking beautifully, still lots of fruit forward flavours, heady aroma. Could go a few more years yet but probably close to peak
