  Drinking well. Very aromatic. Bouquet of cedar, spice, leather, herbs, dried violets. Good dark fruit with great acid/tannin balance. Tannins are soft, but present. Not too big or round, but with sufficient fruit. Finish has a spice to it, but not especially long. Oak is well-balanced as it adds a bit of mid-palate and spice, but complements. Might be a bit of brett present adding the spice components. Regardless, this wine is ripe with quality fruit and shows a lot of interesting character. Probably could age further, but no need to wait as it's supple.
