Purchased @ Connoisseur Wine Imports for $27 on 12/3/88. Drunk with dinner at home with K. (Ravioli in tomato sauce). Healthy ruby color. Big, brash aroma. Cocoa. Big, bold flavors. More powerful than Cabernet Sauvignon. Tannins gone. Probably at its peak, but still needs a strongly flavored food companion. Not for the faint-of-heart. Finish slightly tart. Never hot or bitter. 5-10-13-5: 83/100.
