  • Same notes as previous, however this wine has no acidity. It had interesting notes of caramel, honey, and minerality. The mouth feel is supper smooth and silky and much denser than most white wines I am accustomed to. There is also a strong nose of alcohol. Not for everyone.

  • This bottle had similar qualities to darkhorn's note below but this bottle had good acidity to it. At almost 10 years of age this wine changed by the minute after pouring. The changing notes showed bits of pear, peach, caramel and honey. The wine had a distinct oily minerality to it that created an interesting mouth feel. The wine was in perfect balance and had a medium length finish. Too bad these white CdP's are so hard to find.

  • Had with the 1st and 2nd courses at our family New Years Eve dinner. The white CdP's are totally different than most white wine we drink so it's a little difficult to put my finger on all that is going on with this. Golden in color, nose is full of minerality, flowers, herbs, wet stones and honey. Perfectly in balance! Went very nicely with the meal. I need to do more white CdP on other nights of the year.

  • Not usually a big white wine drinker, but this is quite nice. A lot going on, seems to have put some age on which has made for an interesting wine.. great minerality, nice butter, and pineapple (citrus) coming thru, but not overwhelming. I get a really nice honey note that keeps be nosing the glass over and over. Great as an aperitif, but would hold up to many meat dishes..
