One of the best wines in a prepoured comprehensive tasting of 6 wines from Chateau Nerthe. Took about an hour in the glass for this wine to start to taste superb. Very aromatic, deliciously fruity, savory, and richly textured, with a subtle older oak flavor. Overall, a convincing example of how the white wines in Chateauneuf can be as great as the reds. Just wish the price was less than $119, but it certainly deserves to be in that stratospheric league of costly wines, that I am grateful to have had the opportunity to experience.
