  Our last of two bottles from several years ago. A prior Sonoma County Harvest Fair Best-of-Show (red) award winner. It has certainly held true to its accolades after the passage of time. The current Community End-Date is off by as much as a decade, so am suggesting 2028. the folks holding the remaining 24 bottles should be in no hurry.

  OUTSTANDING!! Had this with short ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy. Was concerned this may have passed its peak and it HAS NOT! Beautiful dense dark color. I can't describe the nose, but unlike lots of wine that have none, or limited aroma, this was extremely pleasant. The tannins were not gone but silky and fully integrated and balanced. The wine coats the pallette with a wonderful mouthfeel and finishes with a subtle mocha flavor. I don't remember ever ranking a Sonoma wine this high but this is one of the best and I only wish I had more. Winemaker Tim Harden should be extremely proud of this wine.

  The was the Sonoma County Harvest Fair's overall Sweepstakes winner for the red category in 2010. Finally opened this up with family and good friends - wonderful stuff. Wish we had a case of it - mild enough tannins that everyone (including non "big cab" fans) thoroughly enjoyed it. Didn't really need much time to open up - a couple minutes in the glass was plenty.

  Last one. I always like Stryker. The wines are well built and have good fruit and tannins.
