One Last 2013 Dinner (Sydney, Australia): Coconut and oak are prominent with some resin, spice and blackcurrant. There is a nice minerality to the palate, but it's just not that interesting overall. Is this in a difficult stage? It's not like what I remember from 5 years ago, I'd like to see it in another 5.

Creamy blackberry, dark cherry, pepper, first hints of Hunter leather, smoke and chocolate. Meaty, intense fruit, melted licorice, intensity and fullness, oak providing an amply platform for dense, smooth and savoury fruit and tannin. Long full finish. Better in 3 years.

Wine under cork. I'm not normally a fan of shiraz, but this wine could change my mind. Now 12 years old, holding well and drinking like liquid silk.

Pleasant blackcurrant and cherry flavours/aromas. Smooth. Moderate complexity but quite a short finish. Still, enjoyable and very good.

Plenty of interest and potential to age, but oak showing a bit too prominently at this showing. More time.
