Tasted at Penfolds Magill Estate, Adelaide. 40 Vintages of Grange: Bin 10 made with 13% Cabernet probably from Kalimna. Very bright in the glass but deeper in colour than the '52. More acid and tannin as well, quite some backbone. This may even still be on the ascendancy! Supposedly this and the '71 were two of Max Schubert's favourites.
