What Maurizio Castelli does in south tuscany is far from making fat supertuscans. 414 is a rather ligtweight sangiovese blend. Ripe fruits, a little marchpane or cookies. Structured by pretty strong tannin that leaves a dry feeling on the tongue. May win in the next two or three years, but won't last for ever.

No notes taken. BBQ at home. I remember it to be quite concentrated and oaked. I wouldn't mind drinking another bottle of this (but I didn't fall in love with it). Around 14 EUR. No rating.
