Dallas CTers visit NYC offline: The nose on this had distinct notes of green bell pepper and hint of mustiness. On the palate, dark fruited, with some of that greenness that came through on the nose and spicy black pepper. Mature and time to drink up.

This wine was stored since purchased at 68 degrees. It held up wonderfully. Yes, much of the tannin is gone, but, so is that alcohol bite. What was left was a wonderfully smooth, yet, complex wine with berry flavors and smokey overtones. It really pays to store your wine at a consistent temperature. I would not let it go much further, however, as the deep flavor is starting to fade.

Agree with UltraC - nothing wrong but tannins are gone. Cool nose of mushroom and earth and enjoyable but nothing life changing

Nothing wrong with this bottle, it held up well. The tannins are gone, but a hint of fruit and acidity is still there, very soft, still enjoyable.

Vindredi (Ridge Cellar Night) (Bellevue, WA): Green pepper and vegetal on the nose. More savory, with meat, leather, raisin, and dried fruit. Perhaps a bit over the hill.
