Floral with notable red fruit undertones on the nose and palette. Consistently good for its price point though not nearly as rich and expressive as other more expensive offerings of the same winery.

Light brown to crimson in color with hints of cherry and dark fruit. Paired very well with our tri tip. Not as big a mouth feel as most other pinots from WS. Had a medium finish with some legs. Towards the lighter side of wines they produce.

Ruby red with a brownish rim in glass. The nose is there, mostly strawberry compote and black cherry notes though on the fleeting side. First sips bring a lighter finish with a tart almost apple peel pop. Enjoying for what it is but feel prior years offered better quality and therefore value.

I have to say three or so bottles in and i know its early and a similar time frame but I keep getting the same black cherry cola nose and modest finish. Nothing lingering and there are certainly fruit notes on the palette but it seems to me a bit lighter all the way around than past years where I recall more boisterous red fruit notes and a tad more earth tones. I enjoyed the bottling but start to take pause as prices creep up for this entry level effort of William Selyem.

Suckling Wines of the World: not one of the better pinot noirs I have had from Williams Selyem: OK but not great.
