This is a terrific value, sporting notes of strawberry, pomegranate, cranberry, and baking spices throughout. Hints of minerality weave in, and a welcome pinch of tannins emerge late, lingering on the medium finish. Mouthwatering acidity keeps this fresh and lively too.

Medium ruby red in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of red cherries, strawberries & kirsch with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, spices, tea, underbrush, minerals, smoky & a hint of vanilla/oak. Medium bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of strawberries & cranberries & pomegranate with some spices, minerals, tea & vanilla/oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing although it should develop further with additional aging.

This offers absolutely delicious aromas of pure black and Bing cherries that go so deep for so long, they almost complete; I guess you can call plum, red currant, rosehip as well. Medium bodied, it has crisp and crunch acid and finely grained, densely packed tannin. Flavors include tart cherry, cranberry, red currant, dill, and clove. With extended air this fills out a bit on the palate and becomes stylistically like modern Burgundy. The added weight extends the depth of flavor.

Nice fresh aromas of rose petal, especially-ripe strawberry, forest floor, and truffle. Aromatic intensity: M. Flavor intensity: M-. Finish fades quickly. M/M+ chalky tannin. M/M- body. I should try this again with a fresh palate. Medium ruby with a hot pink rim.
