  • What CHABLIS28 said. This is one my favorite Rose's and worth every bit of the $13 paid locally. The color is a gorgeous salmon, ample minerality, crisp acidity, light red fruit. 91-92

  • Wrote a not a year ago and gave this 89. Historically low for this producer, for me then. I've been enjoying recent blts much more. Tonight's was showing excellent balance in every way. Nice fruit, lift, mouthfeel. You name it, this is in a very nice place one year later.

  • For a rose, this is good stuff. A little fruit up front, with structure in between, medium finish. On the palate, slight watermelon with minerals trailing behind. A very slight touch of sweetness, but not cloying. This rose of Sangiovese is excellent and looking to add more to the cellar. Serve cold for best results. Had with pasta tossed with olive oil and garlic. Mixed the pasta with wilted spinach.

  • My first 2021 and quite different from the extraverted 2020. This almost reminds me more of Provincial rose. Still, it has a bit more fruit than Southern French rose'. Color is paler than usual too leaning more salmon then intense red-pink like usual. I like this for a little switch-up from most Il Poggione Brancato rose's. 3 more for down the road. Comes with handy screw cap. 12.5% alc.
