medium lemon colour - clean and clear. nose: mineral, bit smoky plus fruit - ripe apples, ripe sweet lemon, some apricot. medium intensity. taste: Very good medium acidty; mineral with chalky and wooly notes. Very good body. Fruity apples, underripe pear and peach. Long with very good balance. Drinks very well.

This pours light gold in the glass. The nose unfurls nicely over the course of a couple hours to show wet wool, honey, ripe pear, honeycrisp apple, apple blossom, and rocky soil. The palate enters on pear and honeycrisp apple, with medium plus precise acid and seemingly just a touch of RS. The finish isn't terribly long but closes harmoniously showing some wet wool and lightly binned apple. All in all this is quite a nice and pleasing young bottle of Loire Chenin with clear stylistic similarities to Vouvray and Savennieres. Not exactly in the top upper echelon but fairly priced at $35 CAD.

Light gold, youthful. This really improved after five days vacuum sealed in the fridge ( it was forgotten ). Honey, apples and herbs emerge and it maintains its minerality. Great wine maker

A: med, lemon with some gold tinge N: bruised green apple, ripe pear, white pepper, slight honeycomb, touch of vanilla, brioche P: dry, high acidity, med body, medium waxy texture, 12.5% ABV C: very good wine = balanced crisp, well integrated acidity with ripe pear and apple (barrel ferm?), med (-) intensity, med (+) concentration, med (+) finish on soft, smooth yellow apple. Drink now and over coming 5 years. A textural wine, this is not driven by pronounced fruit but by a rather complex mouthfeel.
