  • A delightful little rose. About what you'd expect. Aroma was strawberry, rose petal and even some watermelon. Pale salmon in color. Flavor follows suit is light and it finishes rather quickly. Made to enjoy near the pool and well suited.

  • A salmon going to copper pour. Not particularly assertive on the nose, there's a whiff of lemon blossom and that pleasingly clean spring smell good rosés seem to have. The wine drinks clean and lean, its fruit a mix of wild strawberry and white peach, and not a hint of flab (it's only 12.5% ABV).

  • In the BA lounge. I think Papies is possibly a bit harsh, although context does make a big difference as he notes. Relatively simple rosé, decent body and texture, walks the line on richness and sweetness without stepping over. It’s not complex but it’s not bad.

  • By the glass at the BA Lounge, LHR. Freshly opened .
A lounge in a rainy day is no place for rose but we have it a try. Soft , pale almost no presence but the poor thing stood no chance. Felt like an 86 but probably will be much better beachside with a helping of sunshine.

  • Root Day - very pale salmon in colour. Nose is strawberries, white peaches, light herbs and a touch of orange zest. On the palate the strawberry comes through first (showing a bit confected) with a nice mouthfeel and bright acidity. Then comes some orange zest and light herbs. This is a pretty wine, well made with a medium length finish of orange and strawberry along with just a hint of bitterness (orange pith).
