Good richness and depth, but with excellent acidity and cut. Really coats the palate on entry, but finishes clean as a whistle with a lengthy mineral tang.

Rhys vs White Burgundy Blind (A collector's home): Wine E. Tropical fruit on the nose, more pineapple than citrus, with maybe some sweet powdered lemon candy elements. The palate is broad and deep, good fruit but lacking acidity and low complexity. I guessed this wine to be Rhys.

bearwallow hasn't always been a fav of mine from Rhys, but this bottle (originally opened for a recipe) was pretty darn awesome, good lift / acid, with some med plus power on the palate, citrus in the main... fine and lovely and maybe with a few years to mellow a tad it will get even better... assuming it doesn't get round / oxidized anyway

Four months after the prior, and equally lovely. Beautifully balanced, medium richness, with good acid backbone. Very enjoyable over three nights — and we wish we had more.
